Each rack component can be used for audiophile Hifi equipment or for studio gear to look great and offer protection from dust and impacts.
Each cabinet can be hard spiked to the floor or to the cabinet mounted above or below and each cabinet comes with a seperate floating floor which can be mounted via solid spikes, rubber pads or silicone gel isolation discs to minimise or accentuate reverb from the surrounding room and adjacent cabinets.

Component Coupling: Solid Stainless Spikes - 8 pack
Solid Stainless Spikes for floating Floors - 0.4 inch diameter (10mm) x 1.2 inch high (30mm) - 8 pack
M8 thread, solid spike coupling option for your floating floors. Solid spikes helps to connect your audio components to the floor or base cabinet which in theory, is the opposite of isolation.
Power amplifiers or integrated amplifiers frequently sound audibly better mounted on solid platforms due to the resonance frequency potential of the component.
Generally, Streamers, DDC's, DACS, Turntables and other source equipment are better to be isolated with silicone gel pads.
This is not an exact science, so trial and error is the best option. If you are not sure, purchase both silicone and solid options to trial what sounds best in your system setup.
For a slightly less solid connection, consider the solid rubber option.
Note: Only revealing systems will benefit from either a solid coupling or isolation coupling. If you are not sure, choose the silicone gel option.
Component Coupling: Solid Rubber Discs - 8 pack
Solid Rubber Coupling Discs for floating Floors - 1 inch diameter (25mm) x 0.315 inch high (8mm)
Self adhesive, solid rubber coupling option for your floating floors. Solid rubber helps to connect your audio components to the floor or base cabinet which in theory, is the opposite of isolation.
For an even more solid connection, consider the steel spike option.
Note: Only revealing systems will benefit from either a solid coupling or isolation coupling. If you are not sure, choose the silicone gel options.
Component Isolation: Silicone Gel Domes - 2 x Pack Sizes
Self adhesive, Silicone Isolation Domes for floating Floors - 0.75 inch diameter (19mm) x 0.375 inch high (9.5mm)
Isolation option for your floating floors. Silicone domes help to isolate noise and hum for your source components and tube gear to ensure the cleanest signal arrives at the analog inputs of your amplifiers.
Amplifiers can be used with solid rubber discs or spikes as a further option as they frequently sound better mounted on solid platforms due to the resonance frequency potential of each component. This is not an exact science, so trial and error is the best option. If you are not sure, purchase both Silicone and Solid Rubber to trial what sounds best in your system setup.
Generally, Streamers, DDC's, DACS, Turntables and other source equipment are better to be isolated with silicone gel pads.
Other size domes are available on special order, please enquire via our contact page. [email protected]
Note: Only revealing systems will benefit from either a solid coupling or isolation coupling. If you are not sure, choose the silicone gel options.
